A Re Yeng, which literally translates to “Lets Go”,is a bus rapid transit system operating in South Africa’s capital, Tshwane. It is responsible for transporting thousands of South Africans from their homes to different parts of the city for school, work, leisure and back home again. My involvement in the communication design was through collaboration to create the marketing and collateral material that would be used to introduce the transit system to the public.

Brief

Design an informative flyer that would include routes, general information about the transit system and important things to note. The flyer style would have to be a z-cut fold.

Consideration

Design has to being line with the City of Tshwane's corporate identity

Design needs to inclusive with respects to racial representation

Design needs to be inclusive in overall design style (font size, colour usage and infographics)

The z-cut fold flyer design, was a combination of some infographics and imagery I art-directed for the overall marketing and design.

Take Away

The project was more or less a year with some breaks in between. During this time I collaborated with an amazing the Media Strategist ,Neo Monareng,and together we ere able to execute a marketing campaign inclusive of ; billboards, flyers, activations, radio adverts and mall installations. It's safe to say, we operated like a small agency.
